After listening to a discussion of using wafer walls, I thought it might be interesting to create a countdown that had that feel. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be, but its okay.
It’s better than taking some stock photo or video loop and throwing a counter on top of it.

There is some question in my mind as to whether the MP4s are working properly. I don’ t have a Mac (yet) and one of the other computers I tried it on doesn’t seem to like one of the files I downloaded. I re-encoded the Echoing Countdown #1. If that works, I see what I can do about the other ones.
If you’re having troubles, I certainly can fix stuff.

I’ve turned off the requirement to register or login to download media.
We’ll see how that goes.
Therefore, stuff is even more free than before.

Here is the first variation of the 360 countdown that I did.
Just like the #6 countdown, it has an echoing 360 degree seconds countdown. The number of minutes scales in and out in the center.
It is on white and has a zooming series of spheres.
It (and the related ones) are 10 minute countdowns.

I did a new countdown for this Sunday morning. Hot off the presses as it were.
It is a bit hard to describe. It is an orangish tan background with an echoing 360 degree seconds countdown. The number of minutes scales in and out in the center. There are a couple other subtle effects that work off the background too.
It (and the related ones) are 10 minute countdowns.
